FAQs About Clinical Hypnosis &
Rochester, NY (Town of Greece)
Q: Can anyone be hypnotized?
A: The best subjects (individuals) are strong-willed, intelligent, and imaginative. If you want to be hypnotized - you will be. Hypnosis takes place in Alpha - Theta which you go through every night when you fall asleep and come up through when you wake up in the morning.
Q: Am I awake or asleep?
A: During Hypnosis, you are in a relaxed state of Alpha - Theta. you are NOT wide awake (Beta) and you are NOT deep asleep (Delta). Your eyes are closed, you are deeply relaxed, you are aware of your surroundings, and you are able to talk and respond to the Hypnotist’s questions. You are in complete control.
A: During Past Life Regression Hypnosis you are removing the “filter” to your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is like a computer and remembers all thoughts, feelings, memories, and events across this life and all other past lives. Forgotten awareness will come to you as still images (visual), like a movie, thoughts, or feelings. The Hypnotist will ask you to go to specific areas within the past life you are exploring such as who is an important person to you in that lifetime or move to the time of a significant event within that lifetime. You are in complete control. Clients say, "you cannot make this up!" Some clients have later returned to their computers to look up parts of the countries they have identified during their past life regression. Read Client Testimonials.
A: You may choose to experience a past life that brings meaning to this life or explore if you have had a previous past life with someone in your current life. Some people feel affinities with a geographic area and desire to explore if they have ever lived there in a past life. Some people want to know “why” to questions they have about their feelings, patterns, experiences, or re-occuring dreams which may stem from a past life.
